Whether you’re here to surf or simply to breathe a little deeper, this is a place where life feels more real.
More Than Hostels
We never set out to build just a place to sleep. Agüita was created as a space where people could feel something: connection, freedom, belonging. What started as one house became a small family of homes, each with its own personality but the same soul. Here, strangers share tables, stories turn into friendships, and leaving is always the hardest part.
Simple Living, Done Right
We believe in keeping things simple but meaningful. Good spaces, natural light, thoughtful design, and an atmosphere that lets you be yourself. No excess, no pressure just the essentials done well. At Agüita, comfort isn’t about luxury, it’s about feeling at ease, connected, and exactly where you’re meant to be.
A Different Kind of Stay
Agüita is built around a different rhythm, one that follows the ocean, the sun, and the simple joy of being outside. Some days it’s your first lesson, others it’s just paddling out to feel the water. When the waves rest, the island takes over: hikes through volcanic landscapes, hidden beaches, long swims, or just stretching into a slow yoga session under the sky. Life here happens together, but never forced.
Shared dinners and long conversations, BBQ nights that bring everyone around the table. It’s about feeling good, inside and out. We’re not a party hostel, and that’s intentional. Nights are for recharging, for quiet talks, for resting after full days. The energy is social, open and warm, but always respectful of the space and the people in it. Agüita is for those who want to travel differently: to move, to breathe, to connect without the noise.
